Just six New York City ZIP codes ranked among the top 100 most expensive in the country

The average price of a home in the New York City ZIP Code has increased to $650,000 from $630,000, according to a new study. The study also found that while the city’s most expensive ZIP codes are no longer the priciest in the nation, other areas are now commanding higher prices.

New York’s real estate market has become more expensive in recent years, with 17 ZIP codes where home prices are sky-high. According to a study conducted by CoreLogic, the average home price in New York City has increased by more than 10% in the past couple of years.

The city’s most expensive ZIP Code is 10013 covering Tribeca, which 22nd on the list with a $3.2 million typical sales price, according to the study.

Another ZIP Code covering parts of Tribeca — 10007 — is 25th with a median sales price of $3.1 million, the study states.

The other ZIP Codes and typical sale prices are:

  • 10282 covering Battery Park City — $2.7 million
  • 10001 covering Chelsea — $2.2 million
  • 10012 covering SoHo and NoHo — $1.9 million
